Mel Stern is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University where he obtained a Bachelors of Arts Degree and a Masters Degree. He taught in two different school districts in Southeastern Michigan for three years.

In the mid 60's Mel Stern became a Licensed Michigan Real Estate Broker and embarked upon a career in commercial, industrial and investment real estate brokeraging. Mr. Stern began raising cash equities, creating different methods of financing for the sale of difficult-to-sell properties, syndicating investment properties, and then brought together a management team to oversee the properties he procured. To date he has personally closed over $100 Million Dollars in real estate and business sales.

In the early 1980's, Mr. Stern became interested in a business opportunity and invested in an auto repair franchise business. Within sixty months he developed the franchise into twenty-eight stores, and thereafter sold the ownership in the business to a national auto service chain.

In the late 1980's Mr. Stern opened "Sentimental Journey", a classic car dealership, which was recognized in Southeastern Michigan as the "Best Adult Toy Store" in the Midwest.

In 1992 Mr. Stern re-entered the real estate industry and again began brokering investment industrial and commercial properties. He is presently operating a successful real estate brokerage office located in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Mel Stern began his affiliation with Company Connections, a mid-market merger and acquisition business, and operates their Midwest office within the same facility from which Mel Stern operates his real estate brokerage company. Alan Stern is a graduate of Western Michigan University where he earned his Business Administration degree in Accounting.
